In the Studio

It feels like a lot is going on in the studio. It has surely been a busy summer and the fall is looking pretty awesome too. We had a great Date Night in July and another is planned for Sept. 20. Our fall Pottery Bootcamp is full with 4 new students. And the first vendor event for the fall is at Goodlettsville Arts Antiques and Music on Sept. 14 just outside Goodlettsville City Hall.

Aren’t you loving the slightly cooler days? Times like this remind us to go for the walks or hikes or country drives to get some inspiration and fresh air. I find that I really have to be intentional on this or time just flies by. So I am scheduling in some “Artist Dates” per The Artist Way by Julia Cameron. And the plan is to get some painting done. I hope to share some of these at Goodlettsville.

So how about you? Are you getting out there…so you have something to bring into the studio?

Creatively,

Kelley

  1. Kelley, thank you so much for the pottery tray, bird, bowl and turtle. It was so kind of you to make such beautiful pottery for me when I was unable to attend a recent class with the Seasoned Ladies group. Your kindness means to so much to me! I look forward to another opportunity to join a class with you! Again thank you so much!

    1. You are welcome! So sorry you missed the event but would love to see you in studio next time.
