Fall Events

Good gracious, this year is flying by! Since the last post-it has been quite a while- I have worked really hard on improvements in the studio. We have a new kiln room and clean up station. We’ve had a wonderful Bootcamp with all the students continuing in clay in studio. Personally, I have traveled to Ireland and had lots of family events. There has been tons of clay creations coming through the studio. And I have favored a few handmade glazes on my work. So, never boring!

Next up:

July 25, 6-9 pm is Date Night. Bring your person to try out handbuilding and wheel throwing techniques to create beautiful functional pottery. Charcuterie provided.

Sept 13, 10-4 Goodlettsville Arts, Antiques and Music. If you’re looking for art, this is a great local event to support local artists. I have participated in this event the last 3 years and I’m excited to be there again.

Sept 20, 9-4 Autumn in the Brier at the Historical Society in Greenbrier offers local, cozy products, food, music, and a great book sale. I have really enjoyed this event. It is easy and local.

Nov 7-8, The Sampler at The Center in Springfield has been a big event for lots of years and I am excited to participate for the first time this year. I visited last year and was impressed with the quality of the vendors.

Nov 22, 9-4 The Gallatin Harvest Craft Show at the Civic Center in Gallatin has been a long standing event on my calendar, at least 14 years. I love seeing familiar faces each year.

For now, that is what is on the books. I hope you are having a great summer. Follow along on The Moss Patch on Facebook for more info.
